Published Aug 29, 2013Evidently undeterred by the departure of bassist Ellen Campesinos! late last year, Welsh indie pop ensemble Los Campesinos! have announced a new LP. No Blues is out on October 29 through Heart Swells/Turnstile/Wichita Recordings.
The album was recorded this past June in Bethesda, Wales, with John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Blonde Redhead) and Tom Campesinos! handling production duties.
That's the album cover above and the tracklist below; it includes apparent allusions to the Smiths' "Cementary Gates" ("Cemetery Gaits") and James Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man ("A Portrait of the Trequartista as a Young Man").
