Moodymann Shares Disturbing Video of His Arrest at Gunpoint
Iconic producer and DJ Moodymann has shared shocking footage of himself being arrested at gunpoint, claiming that the detainment took place on his own property.

The now-deleted clip, shared via Instagram today, showed an officer forcefully ordering the artist — born Kenny Dixon Jr. — to unlock his car door and exit the vehicle while pointing a firearm with a scope in his direction.

In the post's caption, Dixon wrote that "HP police came [in] (MY BACKYARD) demanding proof of ownership and this is how they reacted...charged me 4 Breaking and entering on my own property even though I had keys."

He added, "what u can't c is 9 other officers pointing there AR15 directly at my head...next time just pull the MF trigger let's get this shit over with (I'm tired) I'm so tired."

As the Detroit Metro Times points out, an officer's badge seen in Dixon's driver side mirror appears to be that of the Highland Park Police, also aligning with the artist's "HP police" description.

UPDATE (1/17, 2:20 p.m. EST): The Detroit Metro Times has published a statement from Highland Park Police Department regarding Dixon's arrest:

On Saturday while conducting a proactive patrol regarding possible illegal scraping HPPD officers encountered Mr. Dixon.  During the encounter, Mr. Dixon did not produce personal ID nor proof of ownership of the property and was subsequently arrested and conveyed to HPPD. Further investigation confirmed ownership and Mr. Dixon was released and issued several citations regarding this incident. Mr. Dixon has since met with HPPD and this matter was resolved to the satisfaction of Mr. Dixon.

Moodymann also confirmed his arrest in the post's caption. You can find his video archived below. Please be warned that the video may be unsettling for some viewers.
