The Sad KISS Float at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Is a Perfect Metaphor for 2020
As KISS rocker Paul Stanley himself showed off, the band's participation in the 2014 parade was anything but grandiose — and they know it.
As Stanley tweeted, "We showed up at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade after being shown sketches of a HUGE float and told we would be surrounded by 100 baton twirlers in KISS makeup. Instead we got THIS!!! An SUV with a U-Haul attached and two unimpressed escorts. HA! HA! HA! Look how happy we are!"
Thankfully, Stanley included some photo evidence, which indeed looks sad as hell.

Whether it's as sad as playing a pre-COVID concert to sharks on a tiny boat in Australia is up to you.
